DESCRIPTION
The Heiselberg Droid was conceived by Gregory Heiselberg, a very prestigious droid designer and engineer. Their basic function is as a hub droids by relaying instructions for new tasks or for modifying of tasks in the field. HDs are also able to collate straight forward data and metadata receive from other droids e.g. Observer Droids and relay it back to be processed.
They are equipped with electromagnetic induction coils and are able to inductively couple with other droids and recharge them when necessary. Fully weatherproof they are able to stay in the field for several months at a time.
Heiselberg Mk 2 Droids were an improvement to the Mk 1 version. Their advanced programming and AI allowed them to diagnose problems droids were having on tasks and modify programming accordingly. HD2s could last in the field for much longer periods of time compared to HD1s.
