DESCRIPTION
Drop Pods were essentially data collection droids that would get dropped into difficult to access environments or situations where urgent information required.
Equipped with a high resolution thermographic cameras and wide spectrum sound recording devices, they were able to function 24/7 in all climatic conditions and had long lasting new generation V-flow batteries and could stay in position for months before their batteries needed recharging.
The second generation variants were far more sophisticated with regards to the equipment they had installed and could function for much longer periods of time in situ.
